Matthew 13:44-46 New Living Translation
44 “The Kingdom of Heaven is like a treasure that a man discovered hidden in a field. In his excitement, he hid it again and sold everything he owned to get enough money to buy the field.
45 “Again, the Kingdom of Heaven is like a merchant on the lookout for choice pearls. 46 When he discovered a pearl of great value, he sold everything he owned and bought it!
You know, many times as a Christian you may not know God’s will, yet there are a whole lot of days where you can almost become obsessed with finding it. And this can become even more frustrating for the child of God who walks in the “Supernatural.”
I have been a Spirit Filled Christian for more than forty years, and even though God has given me a few promises concerning “Prophecy,” I still to this day can be led astray from the “Truth,” because I haven’t really turned my future over to God in complete abandonment and trust.
“Do you know what I mean, have you ever experienced something similar?”
Well, at the end of my paper I am going to give an altar call for liars!
Anyway, what I have found on my journey in life is that analogy in which I have heard “John Bevere,” state a few times. He explains on how when the Treasury Department trains their agents in order to recognize counterfeiter bills, one of the first things they do is to let them handle the “REAL,” currency. They will have them to spend hours and hours counting and handling each and every bill until they “eat and sleep” the experience of recognizing the “real thing.”
He says that they don’t train the agents by having them study a thousand various counterfeit ‘bills.’ Instead, he says, “They have them to handle real uncorrupted perfectly printed true currency.”
Therefore, this way when they are later ‘slipped’ a counterfeit bill, they immediately recognize them as false or not properly authorized by the U.S. mint.
You see, John Bevere was speaking the analogy in reference to the church and ever since I had become a member of the church, I have had to deal with “counterfeits.”
You see, the church has always been full of them, and even the apostle Paul warned the Ephesian Elders that after he left there would be “savage wolves,” who would come in after him with the intent of hurting the church. See Acts, chapter twenty.
You know, sometimes we are given “prophetic words,” and many times they are given by God as a goal or a “dream,” in which will motivate the person to not give up in life, but to hold on to what he knows God had placed in his heart and which one day may perhaps be fulfilled, should you hold “Fast,” to those promises.
Yesterday, I heard a great sermon by a Leader at a CFNI Chapel service concerning those times when God might give you a dream or vision. (See posted sermon one on this page.)
Well, I know in my case the Lord has given me a few particular ‘Prophecies,” so his sermon really hit home to me. You see, many times you may have a direction from the Lord or a promise, yet along the way there are many times that you think, “Oh yea, this is the way that I must follow in order to have that ‘dream or promise,’ fulfilled.”
Or maybe, “Yes, this is the school in which I am to devote all my resources in.”
Or, even in some cases, I am sure that it never happens to “mature” Christians because ‘they only hear from God,’ but perhaps you could even think, “Finally, this is my soul mate whom God has promised for me to marry?”

****************************************************************
It was yesterday morning and after visiting a Chapel service at another Bible School, I saw on “You Tube,” that Mark Rutland was going to be the special speaker at CFNI, that day.
Well, I have listened to thousands of speakers and preachers, so sometimes I am not quite sure “where I heard that guy before?”
So, I am thinking “Mark Rutland, Mark Rutland, Mark Rutland, how do I know that guy Lord?”
And then it came to me, “Hey, that was the ORU President who was the first preacher I had heard since, after the ICBM, had dissolved.”
Well, it had to have been a few years since I had heard a preacher at ORU and this guy was the “President,” but I love to judge these guys. Yes, I like to put them through the gauntlet, if you know what I mean.
So, I will arrive fifty minutes before the meeting and sit right in the front row, middle seat, directly across from the pulpit, so that when they begin to preach we are almost face to face, and then to challenge them, “Are you gonna produce buddy, or are you just gonna be like ninety eight per cent of every other Preacher in America?”
AHHHH shucks, “I am just pulling your leg,” as that old saying goes….maybe?
But seriously, you see, when a real Preacher preaches, they drop something in your soul, so normally you don’t ever forget them.
Well, that’s why the Holy Spirit was able to bring back to my memory the last Sermon that I heard from ORU.
You see, this is a preacher’s preacher, he preaches with the “wisdom of God.”
He can see with the perspective of Jesus.
“And some say that I don’t like Preachers, Well, I don’t have a clue as to where they ever would get that idea?”
********************************************************************
Nevertheless, that same analogy mentioned by John Bevere, above concerning Treasury Agents training to tell the difference between issued bills by the US government and those not, can also be applied in your personal life.
You see, years ago, I sort of had a prophecy that one day I was to marry a Christian wife.
Well, so when you meet one, how do you tell if that particular one is the “real,” fulfillment of that dream?
I mean, it’s not like you can handle them for hours and hours, you know, go around feeling them day and night, so you can become so familiar with them that you know “this is the real one,” that one promised by God from years ago?
Do you see what I am saying?
You know, and the longer it goes in which you remain single, the more easily it is to make mistakes.
I guess, what I am saying is that because of our impatience and frustration with our dreams and visions which sometimes God has to give us to keep us “faithful,” in following him, we can make a lot of mistakes. See 1st Sermon
Nevertheless, as a Christian walking in the Lord, this is the absolute worst thing that I would want to do as a human being, let alone a Christian.
I would never want to hurt someone or to lead them astray on some false pretext believing them to be my wife, yet it is so easy to fall into Satan’s schemes that many times we do.
Plus, many of us don’t want to let the world see us when we are led away through our emotional attachments. It can be quite humiliating, although most people have experienced the same thing and understand completely when it happens.
Those things are just not in my nature, yet I know that I have committed these errors in my life, and I am very sorry for committing them and for the individuals who I might have hurt.
Nonetheless, the devil can be very deceptive and who knows, I am even liable to commit another few before my life is over with.
Nevertheless, until I can just learn to “let go of MY plans and aspirations and to relax and to wait for God to truly work HIS plan in my life, I will be leaving my life open for the devil to once again, lead me off course.”
Do you understand what I am saying?
So, if you are a Christian who may have been enticed into one of Satan’s schemes to sow discord among your relationships, I would suggest that you apologize in the best way that you know how to the person whom you might have hurt.
There is nothing that Satan loves more than to screw with “love and respect,” that Christian’s ought to have with one another.
Anyway, once the meeting was over at ORU, and I moved from that center seat out to my vehicle, I had been thoroughly impressed with that “Preacher,” whom I had been “dogging.”
2nd Sermon this week: https://youtu.be/OaMnr37LcpM
So, there I was the day before yesterday, “Hymmm Mark Rutland, Mark…” and then it dawned on me. “Hey, that’s one of the only four Preachers who I respect in the church.
Well, after I heard his first sermon at CFNI, the other day, I got to listen to another the next day, (yesterday) and I was even more impressed with his preaching.
Nonetheless, his purpose for being at Christ for The Nations, this week was to be the special speaker for the Presidential Inauguration which they held today for Golan Lindsay, who was to be inaugurated as only the fourth President, since the Bible School opened way back in 1970.
I watched the entire event today and was thoroughly blessed by it all, especially Dr. Rutland’s third Sermon, which I was blessed enough to hear all of these in one week.
And though, tempted, I didn’t even drive up to Dallas to sit in my favorite seat.
Go figure!
If you are interested as to what a good sermon is, “you might want to check this guy’s sermons in which I have posted links on this paper.”
Nonetheless, if he makes you laugh uncontrollably and you fall out of your seat, then please sue him, I am just the “Messenger.”
Following is link to the Presidential Inauguration, with Dr. Rutland’s third message, and if God so leads you, please send this school a good offering.
I am convinced that the Lord has great plans for those future leaders which will be graduating from this institute in the future.
Trust me, this is good ground for you to sow your seeds into. Far as I can tell they don’t have any idiots rioting and sowing nothing but hatred among the campuses, as the rest of society is still sending billion-dollar endowments to those secular schools.
This is an institution which has supported Israel for over forty or fifty years. The following is a scripture or promise of God for those who will bless Israel.
Well, when you bless this institution, you bless Israel, as well.

Yesterday, I happened to watch a ministry called Jacob's Tent, with Paul Wibur, as it's guest speaker. Well, I have seen "Jacob's Tent," on "you Tube," a few times, but I thought that it was a ministry in Europe.
Perhaps, they were on tour?
Anyway, Paul Wilbur made mention of a "project or ministry" in which he is involved in, and it really moved my heart. Well, if it moved my heart, then I am sure that it moved God's heart, as well.
We are really "Tight."
Nonetheless, here is a link, if you are interested in a project for which God is exceedingly happy to see birthed from an American Ministry.

The scripture where Jesus says, "Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, streams of living water will flow from within him" is in John 7:37-39.
Here's a more detailed explanation:
states: "On the last and greatest day of the festival, Jesus stood and shouted, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to me and drink."
continues: "Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, 'From his heart will flow rivers of living water.'”
explains the meaning: "Now this he said about the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were to receive; for as yet the Spirit had not been given, because Jesus was not yet glorified."

You know, I just got through watching my third online sermon today and toward the last of it, I felt as if God wanted me to commend the pastor and to mention how much I like and respect this guy.
Well, I am like, “Awwwwwww C’mon God, I just did that to another preacher a few days ago, I got a reputation to uphold Lord?
Well, when the Holy Spirit tells you something, you just have to obey. It reminds me of that story concerning “little Johnny” I forget the occasion, but they wanted all the kids to stand. Well, this little “Johnny,” didn’t want to stand. Finally, after much correction from his mother the boy stood. So, after the assembly or whatever it was the mother says to her son, “Well, wasn’t that a wonderful assembly, Johnny, aren’t you glad you stood up for it?”
So, little Johnny says, “Yea, well I may have been standing on the outside, but inside I was still sitting down.”
Anyway, I would like to share how much I was impressed with Pastor Dilena’s message tonight. There were two points in which he mentioned that I had been concerned about in the church, and he hit them right on. Therefore, I may be referencing his sermon to justify my concerns.
Earlier today, I turned on an “online service,” which had specifically been targeting for an online congregation.
Well, let me preference it with this little story. A number of years ago, I went to one of these churches which was a leader in a particular “trending,” Stream. Many times, in these “Streams,” however, they can become somewhat proud and think that “we are the cat’s pajamas.”
“Everyone wants to be as ‘cool,’ as our church.”
So, after crossing the country to attend a conference, the next morning, I was at the first service. So, as I begin “worshipping” the Lord as is customary in Charismatic and Pentecostal services, I see this guy up front with his right or left hand lifted to the Lord, but then in his other hand the man was holding a coffee which looked as if it had come from a Starbucks or similar coffee bar.
Well, I was taken a back, and it bothered me all day. Nonetheless, anytime where I have seen ridiculous behavior or unrighteous behavior purposely committed in the church, I will write about such things.
You see, for the longest time, I had been so ignored by the church, that this was the reason why God gave me my websites. It was so that when I would see things committed in the church which were unholy or detrimental to the good of the church, I now had a platform where I could vent my frustrations.
Before, I was just forced to hold all these things in, and I knew how much that those things grieved the “Holy Spirit.”
So, to be kind to the individual, let’s just say, “That I laid into this guy, the pastor and the “stream,” and my intention was to make them look like fools.”
I wrote about the experience, and I stated so vehemently, “Could someone please tell me the difference between “worshipping God,” with a coffee in your hand or a cheeseburger?”
Next, I began to explain that our “worship times,” ought to be compared as to the model in which God had given the Israelites concerning the “Holy of Holies, and the ‘Tent of Meeting.”
I told how that when the Priest entered the Holy Place once a year, they had to tie a rope around the man's ankle, lest he do something not in line with the specific demands which were required of the Priest in that ceremony.
I said, “If there were ever a Priest who entered the “Holy of Holies,” intending to eat a ‘Cheeseburger,” I can guarantee you they would be pulling a rope to retrieve his body.”
AI Overview
The place where the high priest, with a rope tied to his ankle, entered was the "Holy of Holies" within the ancient Temple in Jerusalem, a most sacred and only entered once a year by the high priest on Yom Kippur.
Here's a more detailed explanation:
This was the innermost and most sacred part of the Temple, located at the west end.
The high priest entered the Holy of Holies only once a year, on the Day of Atonement, to sprinkle blood on the Ark of the Covenant and offer incense.
The tradition states that a rope was tied to the high priest's ankle so that if he died inside, his body could be pulled out by the other priests, as they were forbidden from entering the Holy of Holies.
The Holy of Holies was a place of great significance, symbolizing God's presence and the need for atonement for the sins of the people.
You see, in the first community in which I came to know Christ, we had such powerful “worship times,” that it was not unusual to hear the angels join with our worship. It was not strange to occasionally appear into heaven or to see the “Saints of Old,” standing at a balustrade looking down from heaven as if we were athletes running a race. I couldn’t even explain some of the experiences in which I had been a part of when I was standing along my brothers and sisters, and we were worshipping the Lord in “Holiness.”
You see, we dressed appropriately, we made it a point not to be late to a meeting. We treated God and worship with the Holy Spirit in the most reverential way.
The following is taken from "Google," but even AI knows that without "Holiness," a congregation is not going to see God.
And they wonder why there is no "Power," in the church.
Well, this is just another one of the reasons.
AI Overview
Yes, Hebrews 12:14 states, "Pursue peace with everyone, and the holiness without which no one will see the Lord," implying that without holiness, one cannot see God.
Definition of Holiness in this context
In this context, "holiness" refers to a state of being set apart and pure, both in thought and action, as God is holy.
Holiness is about living a life that reflects God's character and values, which includes pursuing peace and striving for righteousness.
While Hebrews 12:14 emphasizes the importance of holiness, it's important to note that holiness is not a means to earn salvation, but rather a result of being saved.
The verse is a call to believers to actively pursue holiness, striving to live a life that pleases God and reflects His character.
Well, since that time, I have seen the “standards” in which the modern-day church “worships,” God and they have fallen drastically.
Nonetheless, what I wish to tell the “church,” is that we have done this to our own detriment.
You see, God is not hurt by it, but we are.
This is just another reason why the Lord can’t manifest His glory in more churches. And I am not talking legalism. I am so far from “legalism,” and always have been.
No, I am talking about “giving honor and praise,” to the one who deserves it more than any other being or non-being in the world.
In the past few years, I have seen a few patterns in the church, and I am going to mention one or two here. Pastor Dilena touched on the subject tonight in his sermon.
He was just trying to encourage his people to open their mouths and to say, “Amen,” or “Thank You, Jesus.”
He even compared it at one point to that movie, I believe was called the “Karate Kid.”
In the movie the “Master Black Belt,” or whatever he was called was discipling the young teenager who wished to hone his Karate Skills. So, this guy has the kid use a sponge to clean Cars with, or he has him to do other chores in order to develop the cognitive skills that he would need in order to “master,” his apprenticeship.
Well, as I recall the kid is sort of rebelling until that it was explained to him the purpose of those chores.
But it was a fantastic analogy of what Pastor Dilena was trying to use concerning “Faith,” and the “Power of the Gospel.”
You see, I can guarantee you that unless you are willing and able and to take every advantage of expressing your “voice,” that God has given you then you are wasting away some of the most precious gifts in which God has bestowed on the church.
Jesus stated over and over in various ways that “Out of your belly shall flow rivers of waters.”
Well, you see, those “Rivers,” of waters are never going to stream from a faucet which is only turned an eighth of an inch. No, you have to open the valves, and you have to let those waters out of your belly to flow in such a powerful way that they destroy everything in their path.
And if you don’t know what I am talking about just turn on the news and weather.
Anyway, during the past few years, as I have seen many women in the church like musicians and singers up on stage with eight-to-twelve-inch holes in their knees, it really bothers me. In my younger days, I would have been on my web sites, but I guess that I have gotten older or something. Nevertheless, as my “word Processor,” has stopped, in my mind, I am yelling and screaming at you, so please remember that.
Earlier today, I was upset at another issue that I have with these modern day “Charismatic churches.”
I decided that I would attend an online service, specifically designed to serve online viewers. Well, they are all up on stage, maybe eight to ten musicians and singers. Well, it’s purpose was to serve the online community, yet there were no Lyrics on the screen, as all of these young men and women are singing and playing their instruments.
{Well, without a way to express oneself through "worship," you are not allowing those "rivers of living water," to flow out of you.
In a sense, the church is suppressing its congregations. Nevertheless, some churches do this on purpose because they wish to entertain you rather than to help mature you. And there have been other times when I have seen the Musicians or singers arrange that, so they can be the "Taylor Swift" or the Elvis Presley of the church. Instead of looking at church as an institution where God dwells, they think that it's some entertainment venue.
Once, I came to the grand opening of a Mega Church for it's like fourth or fifth new building, as they were out growing each previous one.
So, after we were worshipping, I noticed that behind the stage they had curtains, as if the church was some entertainment venue. And then I realized that they no longer had an altar.
For those who just missed what I said, let me explain better. On the construction of the fifth building, they did away with the "altar of God" and replaced it with an entertainment stage, as if they were expecting Taylor Swift next weekend to give a Grand Performance in order to show what true Christianity was about???
Sorry Taylor, I'm just making a point.} Rabbit Trail!.
Well, if that wasn’t bad enough, I noticed that the Lead singer, the individual who was mostly singing the “worship,” songs was a very nice-looking lady. So, then I see a couple more nice-looking ladies, and sometimes those things bother me because I am observant for much of my life, and I see patterns emerge.
Well, this is one of the patterns in which I have observed in many modern mega churches or where they wish to cater to a younger crowd. Many times, it isn't "worship," so much as it is entertainment.
And I hope that this isn’t taken wrong, but I have noticed that many churches will have some extremely good looking ‘babes,” leading worship.
Well, hey, I am like the next guy, I love looking at nice looking “Babes.”
I mean, when I go to the grocery, or when I do my laundry, when I go out to eat, I love looking at good looking “babes," though I would never admit it.
Personally, I think that perhaps, that was one of the reasons why God created women?
They are always pleasant to look at, right?
Nevertheless, when I enter a church and I have come to meet God through the “means,” in which God has ordained for us to fellowship with Him, I don’t want to see pretty ‘Babes.”
And then I have seen another pattern in the church with these newly christened believers, who love to sing and to lead “worship.”
They also love to jump up and down on the stage. Well, you can tell that many have been coached as to how to read the lyrics, but on the other hand, perhaps they ought to also teach them how to tighten their Bra straps?
There is nothing worse than trying to focus your thoughts on God when Sister So and So, is jumping up and down with a loose bra strap.
Well, perhaps no one else has noticed, but anyway that’s just my humble opinion?"
But I was fully able to understand Pastor Dilena when he was trying to encourage his congregation to open their mouths and to sing in Church, to Amen, in church.
Nonetheless, that was why I was so upset to see this “online church,” to not post the lyrics.
Well, I didn’t want to “correct,” this church unless that was a standard policy, so I went to a few other of their past online services, and I guess today was just sort of a fluke, as their other services showed the lyrics.
Also, I am not referring to this particular church when I was referring to the many times that I have seen young ladies jumping on stage.
The second thing that has been on my mind recently has been all of these demonstrations at Ivy League Institutions. These are anti Semitism and anti-Christian lawless activities. The Lord through the Media, mostly Fox News, has given me an understanding of the hundreds and hundreds of billions of dollars in which these institutions receive in endowments.
Well, a few days ago, as I was thinking about these issues, I sensed the Lord speaking to me, and I believe that He told me to write about these issues, and to suggest that what many people are doing is that they are throwing away their money in terms of Eternity or of even common sense.
Would you like to leave your children a good inheritance?
Give to God’s Universities, not these “whatever they are called today,” which only sow hatred and disunity into the country. These so-called,” Universities,” which are training our children to become “Socialist and Communists?” Liberals and Leftists whose only positions in the political realm are those which are ultimately anti-Christ.
So, as He was speaking to me concerning the issue, I had a thought and I was thinking, “What if instead of these former Alumni giving away billions of dollars to all of these ungrateful anti-Semitic, anti-American and anti-Christ, former institutions where many of these benefactors had graduated from, that instead they began giving or donating to the Nations Bible Schools or Christian Universities.
And the more that I thought about it, the more that I was convinced that this is what could change the course of America’s future. Suppose someone made a list of the top one hundred Evangelical Christian Christ taught Bible colleges and Universities and thousands of former alumni who had in the past given to their alma matters, instead started giving to these Seminaries and Bible Schools, that our Nation may truly be changed from the inside out?
I say, “Think on these Things,”
Lastly, in his sermon today, the Pastor told of an anecdote which happened concerning Steve Jobs, and the CEO of Pepsi, which he kept referring to Atlanta, as his hometown. Well, he might have meant Coke instead since Coke is headquartered in Atlanta. No big deal, we all miss things. Nevertheless, he told of a time when Steve Jobs, was just beginning Apple. The man needed financial backing, so he approached this CEO, of a huge corporation. The CEO had just landed this incredible cushiony job as one of the leading CEOs of one of the largest corporations in the world.
Well, the story goes that when he met up with Steve Jobs, he stated to Mr. Jobs, something to the effect, “Why would I want to invest in your small company and risk losing my reputation, my good name, my investments, my children’s future, my companies name, as well, as a whole lot of company invested money? “
The Pastor said, “Steve Jobs, replied back to the CEO, something like, “Well if you wish for your “legacy,” to be known as the number one seller of “Sugar Water,” then you probably don’t want to invest.”
Well, as the Pastor ended the story, he said that it was recorded later that the "Sugar Water," seller had made a statement to the effect, “When the man had told me that statement, it was like a jolt of lightening that struck me right in the belly,” or something to that effect.
Hebrews 4:12 New Living Translation
12 For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires.
Well, can I tell you what that was?
It was the “word of God,” and although Steve Jobs, might not have been a Christian who wields the “word of God,” many times, God can use the “unbeliever,” as well.
Perhaps, it was God’s will that Apple Technology grow as it has grown.
Please don’t ask me why, because I am not God, but God is all knowing.
He knows, things that we might not ever know.
The bible says, “That the secret things belong to the Lord.”
Nevertheless, my point here is not to glorify “Apple,” but to suggest or to ask those many hundreds of thousands or millions of Alumni who have given endowments or gifts to these Universities, “Are you sure that this is the “legacy,” in which you want to be remembered for?”
You see, if perhaps any of you do get to heaven are you aware that you will be known up there as the individual who flittered away a fortune and as the person who has no rewards up there because you preferred to leave a legacy on Earth in which you would be remembered as the “Sugar Water,” King.
You chose to finance those institutions in which supported “Terrorists,” such as those who were responsible for October seventh.”
You chose, because of your silence, that former school of which you once were a part of, to manufacture individuals who would all graduate with Ideologies which were completely against your own values and morals, so they could graduate and bring absolute division unto the country in which you once loved.
Well, if you have not figured it out, I believe that the sermon preached earlier today was “your sermon.”
Aren’t you going to say, “Amen?”
No, how about a " Hallelujah?"

You know, every day when I open my “You Tube,” page there will be new clips dealing with a topic that I may have mentioned the day before.
Like, one day, I wrote about a few particular country songs that I used to listen to, and then the following day there were a whole slew of these songs specifically themed around my subject.
Well, I know that these social media companies track your every move and then tailor your specific advertisements to your needs, but I am talking a little different here.
I am beginning to think that there are human beings that follow me and then send particular videos to a subject in which I might be subjecting my readers too.
Or, perhaps, I am just paranoid and insane, which might be closer to the “truth?”
Anyway, I was looking at this clip by Paul Stookey from Peter Paul and Mary, and he was talking about a song he wrote which has become one of the most popular “Wedding songs,” ever.
But, in the clip he mentions how that he received divine inspiration to write it and that he was going to sing it at his friend’s wedding exactly how he wrote it. Nonetheless, he was later talked into changing a few words, by his wife, which I can fully understand.
You see, it was not as if this couple were “Jesus Freaks,” or strong “Christians,” so for God to give a prophetic song, speaking of himself must have seemed quite strange.
Nevertheless, in Christianity believer’s such as myself understand that God is “Emmanuel” or “God with us.” We believe that Christ is in every believer.
The following is taken from “Google,” AI:
AI Overview
Yes, many Christian worship songs express the truth that Christ dwells within believers, such as "I Speak Jesus" by Charity Gayle, and "There Was Jesus" by Zach Williams, among others.
Here are a few examples of Christian worship songs that express the concept of Christ being in us:
This song, which can be found on YouTube, emphasizes the power and presence of Jesus within believers.
This song, written by Christian rock musician Zach Williams, Jonathan Smith, and country music songwriter Casey Beathard, explores the idea of Jesus' presence and impact on believers.
This song, according to Worship Online, explores the theme of identity by showing how Jesus welcomes believers and sets them free through His love and grace.
This hymn, written by members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, expresses the belief that Christ is in us.
This song emphasizes the idea that God is always with us, and therefore Christ is in us.
So, in this clip Paul Stookey explains why he changed the original version of the song by just a few words. He didn’t want to sound “Blasphemous,” you might say?
Nevertheless, what I found interesting was the fact that often this is how life is, many times we are inspired to make rash decisions or to make mistakes all because we didn’t bother to double check with the “One who knows all.”
Nonetheless, there is always the accuser trying to condemn us or to lie and to tell us how we will never be normal or could never have a normal life because of those few mistakes in which you can wrongfully make in life.
That is just ridiculous, most people just need a better understanding of God’s love and understanding.
Anyway, I am glad that Mr. Stookey included the original wording which the Lord had inspired him with as he wrote the song.
I for one, like it a whole lot better and it means more to me, thinking that these might possibly have been the "words," given to a servant directly from Jesus Christ.

I am now to be among you at the calling of your hearts
Rest assured this troubadour is acting on My part.
The union of your spirits, here, has caused Me to remain
For whenever two or more of you are gathered in My name
There am I, there is Love.
A man shall leave his mother and a woman leave her home
And they shall travel on to where the two shall be as one.
As it was in the beginning is now and til the end
Woman draws her life from man and gives it back again.
And there is Love, there is Love.
Well then what's to be the reason for becoming man and wife?
Is it love that brings you here or love that brings you life?
And if loving is the answer, then who's the giving for?
Do you believe in something that you've never seen before?
Oh there is Love, there is Love.
Oh the marriage of your spirits here has caused Me to remain
For whenever two or more of you are gathered in My name
There am I, there is Love.
