Matthew 5 New Living Translation
5 One day as he saw the crowds gathering, Jesus went up on the mountainside and sat down. His disciples gathered around him, 2 and he began to teach them.

3 “God blesses those who are poor and realize their need for him,
for the Kingdom of Heaven is theirs.
4 God blesses those who mourn,
for they will be comforted.
5 God blesses those who are humble,
for they will inherit the whole earth.
6 God blesses those who hunger and thirst for justice,
for they will be satisfied.
7 God blesses those who are merciful,
for they will be shown mercy.
8 God blesses those whose hearts are pure,
for they will see God.
9 God blesses those who work for peace,
for they will be called the children of God.
10 God blesses those who are persecuted for doing right,
for the Kingdom of Heaven is theirs.
11 “God blesses you when people mock you and persecute you and lie about you and say all sorts of evil things against you because you are my followers. 12 Be happy about it! Be very glad! For a great reward awaits you in heaven. And remember, the ancient prophets were persecuted in the same way.

Matthew 21:28-32 New Living Translation
28 “But what do you think about this? A man with two sons told the older boy, ‘Son, go out and work in the vineyard today.’ 29 The son answered, ‘No, I won’t go,’ but later he changed his mind and went anyway. 30 Then the father told the other son, ‘You go,’ and he said, ‘Yes, sir, I will.’ But he didn’t go.
31 “Which of the two obeyed his father?”
They replied, “The first.”
Then Jesus explained his meaning: “I tell you the truth, corrupt tax collectors and prostitutes will get into the Kingdom of God before you do. 32 For John the Baptist came and showed you the right way to live, but you didn’t believe him, while tax collectors and prostitutes did. And even when you saw this happening, you refused to believe him and repent of your sins.
You know, I have been meaning to fix one of my websites because the “heading,” some how had disappeared. Well, tonight I had a little time. (I am all the time in a rush for some reason)
So, I wanted to add a theme picture on “Hisapostle,” site. First I thought of a “Star of David,” with a “Cross,” embedded in the middle to show my support for the nation of Israel. I couldn’t find one.
I ask the Lord for a suggestion and felt him respond with a depiction of “Paul the Apostle.” Well, I searched over and over again looking for an image of “Paul,” washing the feet of the other saints.
You see, whenever I think of “Paul,” I think of him as a servant first. I mean, of all of his accomplishments which would take me pages to write, no doubt, the one attribute that stands out to me was how selfless that he was in almost everything that he did.
Therefore, I wanted to find an image of him “washing the feet of the Saints.”
I mean, if you know the scriptures you ought to be aware that Peter can be characterized as doing this, John could be characterized as one who surely must have performed the act since he was recognized as the "apostle of love." and then we have the portrayal of Jesus doing it as recorded in scripture.
Nonetheless, I couldn’t find any images of Paul doing this and yet the man served his brothers and sisters in the “Faith,” in a greater capacity more than any of the other “saints” listed in scripture.
But somehow no artist through history has ever portrayed the apostle Paul ever doing this….well at least not in the world of the internet’s history of the “Saints.”
So, finally I settled on an artist’s picture of Paul being knocked to the ground concerning his conversion. And then I went to a second site and a third site and finally felt led to add some aesthetics to my personal site.
I have had a Cross on there for way over ten years but thought that I would change it. Again, I ask God and this time I felt as if the Lord wanted me to add an image again of a “saint,” of old washing the feet of the other saints.
This time I simply put “washing the feet,” in the search box. Well, all kinds of images came up, yet there was an ideal one of a “saint” washing the feet of the other saints.
Therefore, I went with that one.
(And please note that the Bible refers to all believer’s as ‘Saints,” not just a few randomly picked by a guy with a funny hat and a number of other ‘funny hat’ wearers.)

7 “When a servant comes in from plowing or taking care of sheep, does his master say, ‘Come in and eat with me’? 8 No, he says, Prepare my meal, put on your apron, and serve me while I eat. Then you can eat later.’ 9 And does the master thank the servant for doing what he was told to do? Of course not. 10 In the same way, when you obey me, you should say, ‘We are unworthy servants who have simply done our duty.”
Luke 17:11-19 New Living Translation
11 As Jesus continued on toward Jerusalem, he reached the border between Galilee and Samaria. 12 As he entered a village there, ten men with leprosy stood at a distance, 13 crying out, “Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!”
14 He looked at them and said, “Go show yourselves to the priests.” And as they went, they were cleansed of their leprosy.
15 One of them, when he saw that he was healed, came back to Jesus, shouting, “Praise God!” 16 He fell to the ground at Jesus’ feet, thanking him for what he had done. This man was a Samaritan.
17 Jesus asked, “Didn’t I heal ten men? Where are the other nine? 18 Has no one returned to give glory to God except this foreigner?” 19 And Jesus said to the man, “Stand up and go. Your faith has healed you.”

(I hope that I didn’t insult this young woman when I suggested that she start a “Daily Devotional.”
You see, a lot of people aren’t going to believe this, but it has only been in the last few weeks in which I have sat down and listened to her teachings other than just gleaning a clip for a few minutes. It was just the other day when I went back to hear one of her teachings from two years ago.
Nevertheless, I have been so impressed with this woman’s grasp of the “word of God,” that I just can’t help it, it’s like I am amazed at her intimate knowledge of the ‘Word,’ and the Lord’s characteristics and attributes.
You see, for years, I have heard many preacher’s wives or women evangelists, but none have opened the scriptures as this woman seems to do. Tonight, I was listening to the following clip from “You Tube,” concerning “Job,” and I am just sitting there wondering how she has such insight into the book?
It’s a mystery to me, I’m like thinking, “She ought to be in a university or Bible School teaching the “Scriptures,” right down the hall from all of those ‘Professors,’ with their tattered “Sheepskins,” taking up precious Real Estate on their office walls.
Nevertheless, I hope that she can forgive me, as she has already proven herself to be quite “resourceful and wise,” by what she has already established concerning her ministry.
Tonight, I only listened up to index number 40, (about halfway through) from this clip, but I highly recommend it. I will probably come back to it when I get more time, but I was greatly impressed, as I stated. )

You see, what I have been trying to say for months is that when you come out of a Bible School, you don’t want to know fifteen ways in which to get your congregation to sing or “Worship,” because it is ‘trending,’ and brings people into the church who would like to be Taylor Swift, or one of our “Pop Stars,” in the Christian music genre.
Neither do you want to know, “How to finance your ministry by proven methods of manipulating your congregations to tithe or give offerings.”
You see, to be a real disciple as one who is recognized as a person who walks with Jesus, is to come out of Bible School, knowing the scriptures intimately. That way when you are teaching on “Mephibosheth” you can incorporate ten other godly characters or references from the Bible and then to ultimately show or display the Lord’s goodness and kindness.
This way you will win the people unto God, and to dispel the lies in which Satan has spent their entire lives telling them concerning God.
Does that remind anyone of anybody?
Well, perhaps, it is because there are so few of these people in the church, most are preoccupied with their own agendas.
