John 15:11-15 The Message
11-15 “I’ve told you these things for a purpose: that my joy might be your joy, and your joy wholly mature. This is my command: Love one another the way I loved you. This is the very best way to love. Put your life on the line for your friends. You are my friends when you do the things I command you. I’m no longer calling you servants because servants don’t understand what their master is thinking and planning. No, I’ve named you friends because I’ve let you in on everything I’ve heard from the Father.

I was going to post this earlier, but while deciding to listen to it, I thought that I would lay down on my bed while it played. Nonetheless, I fell asleep, ten minutes into it, woke up, replayed it, and I just finished it a few minutes ago. On index close to 55 the Pastor talks about bringing back some International students from around the world, yet there is a hold up apparently with some bureaucratic government “red tape.”
Well, could I say that in my fifty years of observing the churches from all kinds of perspectives, I have never witnessed a more similar church to New Testament principles than this church.
I would guess that the first Christian Community in which God called me to was probably much more similar in an overall “Early Church” discipline, but every time I visit “Nations Church,” I get the feeling as if I am visiting the Church in Antioch from the first century.
It just feels good like you know putting on a “brand-new pair of Levi’s” or something?
It just fits so well!
Please pray for this situation with their International students, as I believe it will make the world a much better place in these extraordinary times in which we are living.

AI Overview
The New Testament church in Antioch (Syrian Antioch) served as the primary sending base and strategic way-station for global evangelism.
The Sending Hub: Antioch was where Paul and Barnabas were commissioned, where they returned to rest and report between missionary journeys, and from which the gospel spread outward to the Gentile world (Acts 13:1–3, Acts 14:26–28).
